What the official update confirms
Our video title draws attention to volcanic activity across Indonesia. For the most consequential event in the Sunda Strait, Indonesia's Geological Agency reported on 11 September that Anak Krakatau remained at Level III, Siaga, even though the intensity of surface eruptions had eased. The earlier continuous-eruption episode lasted about 25 hours on 4–6 September. A calmer surface pattern does not mean the alert has ended.
A count is not a single eruption
The title's references to six volcanoes and 150,000 affected people should be read as claims in the video, not as one agency-certified national impact total in this article. Volcanoes have separate monitoring systems and hazards. Passenger disruption from ash, residents affected by air quality, and people evacuated near a crater are different groups; adding them without a consistent definition would mislead readers.
Follow the Geological Agency's current alert level and exclusion advice for a specific volcano. This companion article keeps the verified Anak Krakatau update separate from broader claims that need volcano-by-volcano evidence.
